On the Road 2007-Washington, Idaho and Montana

This is the "million dollar view" in Anacortes, Washington. It is one of our favorite places to visit. The last time we were here, we visited Lopez, Shaw, Orca and Friday Harbor Islands also known as the San Juan Islands. The clam chowder is awesome everywhere you go, especially at the Calico Cupboard, therefore, no need to go to Friday Harbor and the Downrigger Cafe any time soon.

We stayed at the Fidalgo Bay Resort which borders a walking/bike trail to town about 3 miles away. We made those rounds many times while we were here, it is very hard to find a decent place to walk miles at a time when you travel, therefore, we took full advantage of these amenities.

We enjoyed bike riding and all of the great scenery around Fidalgo Bay.

These are photos of Idaho wheat fields near Moscow and we are at Stanley Lake. We were camped at Blackwell Island, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

These are photos of Montana specifically the road to Yellowstone National Park, Mikoshika State Park and rafting and fishing on the Gallatin River.

Allen: You should publish all your travels. It would be a wonderful adventure for those that cannot for some reason or another. All the places and things and commentary are wonderful.
