Lion Potter and local produce of Gettyburg, PA.

Once in awhile you will meet a person that you want to know better, we met such a person named David Young in Gettysburg, PA that fit that bill. David and his wife, Junko, are potters. They also have a local produce stand which is supplied by 27 local farmers in the area.

David's work is mostly wheel thrown, and is influenced by Japanese and African art. Junko's work includes hand-built teapots, slab pieces, and etched animal motif on David's work.

During the summer/fall season they have the best peaches and a full variety of produce grown in the local Gettysburg area, the peaches are some of the best I've tasted. It's juicy, sweet and melts in your mouth like ice cream.
