Visit to Gail's hideaway on a Maine lake

After three miles of dirt road, you come to a license plate with Peggy's (Loon) picture on it tacked to a tree, this is the clue you are near Gail's hideaway.

MS O = MS Orndorf

These three license plates tell the story of Gail's past, present and future. Those who know Gail, know the best is yet to come....

Gail's hideaway on the lake where peace and harmony are at your dockside....

Gail's feathered family on the lake are her loons and bald eagle....

The lake is 8 miles long, one mile wide. It empties into Dead Stream, which meets the Penobscot at Orono.

Bart's chair.....

Gail and Donna; high school classmates in Huntingdon, PA, a toast of good cheer every now and then....helps remind us that the beauty of our lives is what we make it.

Summer's growth in the garden

If it's Maine, it's lobsters....plus corn and sweet potatoes, yummy....

Gail's daughter, Kara (in black), and grandkids, Adam, Donna, Trevor, Hannah and Gail. Grace was upstairs playing or reading.

Trevor's taking his lobster apart, Hannah's happy with her New England dinner

Kara's helping Adam with his chicken leg (you'll see more of him later)

Adam hooked onto a seaweed snake, he enjoyed it, it bent his pole a little bit...

What a wonderful place for grandkids to visit!

Donna playing with Nala, she (Nala) loves the water.... and can't get enough.

Donna throw the ball!

Nala's airborne

Nala's four point landing

The "after lunch" entertainment with Adam showcasing his new routine

He's gottem' eating out of his hands, Kara's wild with laughter, Gail's cracking up, he's rockin'

Adam's got more moves than a can of worms....

Well, it's time for a photo op and get on the road. What a great place and a wonderful day with Gail and her family out on the lake.

Thanks for the hospitality, lunch, and visit.

Our last view of Gail's lake as we scoot down the dusty trail.

Donna and Allen,
Y'all look great. Sorry I missed you in Maine. Thanks Allen especially for the pictures of my Sweetness Gail. She looks too good.
Take care.
