The "Dreaded Starting Line", the cannon goes "bang".

Everyone is anxiously waiting to begin or freeze to death.

Runners are coming up towards Big Mo in the background.

Big Mo up close and personal.

Jutta rounding the 3 mile pole on the inside of the pack. She's running easy.

Ford Island buildings, probably built after Pearl Harbor attack.

Running with the rainbows.

Guys standing on the "pot of gold" underneath the rainbow.

I asked these naval gals to wave their flags for the camera.

I asked this military family to raise their arms and cheers us on. The boys didn't know quite what to do but the mother did. We are coming up on the 4 mile mark.

Jutta still moving smoothly near the military housing.

Still chasing the rainbow around the hanger building.

Rounding the 4 mile marker.
